Clevis

Clevis designs and builds websites for engineering firms in Denver, Boulder and along the Front Range. We connect your work to the clients and engineers who should see it.

When firms call us

Usually when something has changed. Clients, partners and job candidates go to your site to see what changed, and the site should already say it.

Websites our team has built, and concept redesigns for Colorado engineering firms. Concepts are labeled as concepts: they show what's possible and aren't client work.

FHU

A homepage concept for a Denver transportation engineering firm, built around its award-winning roadway and transit work.

A brand refresh and website redesign for a San Francisco newsroom. Traffic rose 25% after launch, and the homepage took first place for layout and design at the California Journalism Awards.

CTL|Thompson

Most geotechnical work ends up underground, where no one can photograph it. A concept for showing it anyway.

What we do

Three things, priced up front. Most firms start with a website build and keep the site current with a care plan.

Services and pricing

Website build

$15k–$30k · 6–8 weeks

Strategy, design, copy and build, with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Your team gets a site it can update without calling anyone.

Care plan

From $1,500 / month

Starts the day the site launches. Upkeep covers hosting, security and edits; Growth ($3,000) adds new project pages, team news and ongoing search work.

Brand & drawings

Brand refresh from $8k

A refreshed identity when the firm has changed, and line drawings of your own projects: the bridge, the plant, the soil under the slab.

Who we work with

Front Range engineering firms of 20 to 250 people, in every discipline that has to win work on qualifications.

  • CivilLand development and public works, shown project by project instead of as a list of services.
  • GeotechnicalWork that ends up underground, where no one can photograph it. Drawings can.
  • StructuralYour part of buildings people know, made plain on every project page.
  • TransportationAward-winning roads and transit work, on the homepage where reviewers look.
  • Water & environmentalLong programs explained for the agencies and communities that fund them.
  • MEPThe systems inside the building, made as visible as the building.
  • SurveyCrews, equipment and coverage, and a careers page that hires field staff.
